Silly Sally Seeley is the A harmonic minor scale, presented as a song about a woman who is a bit unusual. The song was inspired by Ebeneezer Sneezer, a song written by Lynn Freeman Olson, which I use to give beginning (young) piano students their first experience with the major scale. I have often felt that poor Ebeneezer needed a lady friend, and I think I found just the gal for him in Silly Sally Seeley! I have students play this using only RH-2, as we sing the song together.
